I’m Lia. A twenty-six year old classically trained geek. Was a European History major in college, area of focus was British Women History. I tend to read large nonfiction books on sex which seems mystifies people. From August '06-August '07 I was Americorps*Vista doing volunteer coordination around disaster - was my gap year. Currently in Grad School for Library science, focusing on non-print archives. Moved to Boston, am trying to become a independent woman again, as a year at home has stunted my growth. Want to makes some new friends, live and take chances! I love movies - films really, I’m kinda snobby about it - but I still like a good explosion too. My music tastes tend to be singer/songwriter or just rock - tastes are pretty open. I do have a weakness for music from TV shows or movies, soundtracks are my friend. I’m a musical theater dork, and have been known to break into song while commuting to work. Fannishly, I write fic sporadically, squee about various hot people, and generally leave the intelligent comments to others. My first (online) fandom was Alias, where I met wonderful people, who lead me to lj. Currently, my fandoms are Lost, House MD, Bones, Heroes, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Pushing Daisies, and Numb3rs.
